HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! Sorry its a Tadd bit late lol
How was everyones thanksgiving?! Mine was great.
Kind of a crazy week with 2 P days haha yeah... We got an email from the prez that said he is changing the p day to thanksgiving instead of today. So now we have a whole week with no real p day so we will see how it goes. We went golfing on thanksgiving and then went to a couple members homes for dinner, only ate at 2 though. We have an awesome investigator that they cook food every time we come over to teach a lesson haha. We stopped by there and they had a lot of pretty good food. They love bacon so they had bacon with maple sauce and really anything.

On Tuesday we got a flat tire on the mission car haha. We had to jack up the car and change the spare hah luckily I have done it before but the jack that we had wasnt the best but it did its job. We jacked the car up and took off the tire and then we were about to put on the spare and the jack fell over haha dont worry nothing happened to the break its all good. Yeah it was just one of those days... We took the car and got the tire replaced because there was a screw in it and couldnt repair it.

We have a guy in our ward that introduced us to his neighbor whose name is Brisby. He is Hatian and speaks creol which is pretty close to french and broken english but its pretty good. We gave him a tour of the church and that was pretty spirit felt. We went in the room and taught a little about baptism and set a baptismal date for the 10th of January! He is so awesome.

I had my first sort of bible bash yesterday haha. not really though. It was a referral from another ward, this member just wanted us to come and help teach the plan of salvation because he works at the temple and told his friend that everyone gets a second chance to hear the gospel and thats why we do baptisms for the dead. It was a Haitian family and they were pretty strong in the baptist religion. We just set up another time to come back because we werent getting anywhere. But they sent us home with some Haitian food. haha First time trying Haitian food and it was pretty good. Like rice and meat and some beans. Anywho...

This gospel rocks. I know its true. The more and more I study it the more and more truth is revealed to me. I know Joseph Smith saw God the father and His beloved Son Jesus Christ. He restored the full truth on the earth.

Love you all
-Elder Gardner
