At the start of the week we found a family through tracting, a husband and wife with 3 kids the oldest 6, 2, and 1. We met with them 2 days later and then set their baptism date for the 16th of May. I didnt know how I felt about the wife because usually she isnt too involved in the lessons because she is taking care of the kids while the husband is soaking it up. Sunday rolled around and the wife came with the kids and the husband was home sleeping because he works late at work. We had another family Fellowship her family. They got along so well!!! It seemed like she was already a member! The kids had a great time in Sunday School and she was taking notes the whole time while the WML taught our class in Gospel Principles. Super excited for their progression in the Gospel.
On Thursday we went on an exchange with the Zone Leaders... They are frickin insane!!! I am grateful that I have the companion I have and not one of them haha they take things waaaaaay too seriously and dont seem like they have fun whatsoever. I think we need to take the work seriously but we can also have fun. Glad that is over with.
Friday we got a call from Cesar... He let us know that he is grateful for everything that we have taught him but he will be moving back to Connecticut. So our baptism for this weekend is not happening. He was the most prepared person I have met on the mission and was excited to be baptized. I didnt know how to take that. We will be sending the missionaries in connecticut a baptism. That seems to happen here a lot haha that is what happened to Oliver as well. The missionaries there must have been Fasting and Praying for a baptism!
We helped Jason tile his floor this past week because he had a water leak and ruined his hardwood floor. We had some fun doing that. Jason is a good guy but is still struggling to come to church. Got some fun pictures helping out.
Life is full of ups and downs, it is just up to us to have more ups than downs. It is all our choice. I have been trying to make a lot of ups but there has been a lot of downs this past week. But this life is all made for us! It is all Satans plan to make as many downhills as possible.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Happy 6 months to me this Tuesday!!!! Time flies
